Church Anniversary Dinner Draws Crowd By VIRGINIA BELLHORN SLAVIA — Approximately 500 persons attended the 50th anniversary fellowship | dinner that followed the Anniversary Church Service at St. Luke's Lutheran Church last Sunday. Appropriate arrangements of gold and yellow flowers centered the tables. Seated at the head table were the honored guests, which included the two living charter members of the congregation, Mr. George Jakubcin Sr. and Mr. Joseph Mikler Sr. Other guests were the Reverend John Bajus of Chicago, the Rev. L. A. Jarosi of Cleveland Ohio, the Revs. A. H. Besalski and H. Abram of Orlando and the Rev. Human, emeritus of Orlando, and the host pastor the Rev. Stephen M. | Tuhy. ALSO seated at the head table were several senior members of St. Luke's Congregation and also a number of the children of the | founders. Following the dinner, a short program was presented. Ferdinand Duda, secretary of the church, gave a history of the community and church, E. L. Bellhorn, principal of St. Luke's Christian Day School spoke on behalf of the school. Mrs. Sue Colbert ■ spoke for the Missionary " Guild, Mrs. Olaa Jakubson for the Martha Society, 1 Shirley Mikler sooke on be- Ihalf of the Luther League | and Eleanor Duda and Kathy Rook told about the choirs Mr. A. Duda Jr. acted a master of ceremonies. The Rev.
